Join EAVNA’s Gardening / Farming working group for:
- Skill share: come to learn or come to teach! Been struggling with a particular crop or pest problem? One of your neighbors probably has a solution! Gardening experts, novices, all skill levels welcome!
- Crop share: grew too many onions? Share with a neighbor!
- Raised bed construction: we have volunteers eager to help neighbors get started on their own raised bed gardening projects! You bring the wood and screws, we bring the tools and expertise!
- Compost systems: we help neighbors to start composting! We specialize in closed bin cold composting, usually considered the lowest effort / highest convenience composting option and easy to get started and maintain for most homes.
- Gardening guides / information: raised bed options / how to build, soil sourcing, soil testing, seed sourcing, composting, and more!
- Local gardening resources: the best places to source gardening setup materials (construction materials for raised beds), where to buy soil and seeds locally, etc
