Our Mission
East Atlanta Village Neighborhood Assembly is a group focused on connecting neighbors to work together on grassroots community projects, promoting a more resilient neighborhood, and preserving the cultural integrity and community spirit of East Atlanta.
We welcome all residents of East Atlanta to come to our assemblies and participate in our events. Whether you are interested in seed swaps, neighborhood tech initiatives, mutual aid opportunities, clothing swaps, neighborhood cleanups, or just an inclusive space to meet neighbors, EAVNA has something for you! Come and meet your neighbors, join up with one of our existing groups, or bring your own idea and start a new one!

Assembly Norms
– We are stronger together. Collectively, we have what we need to keep each other safe and meet our needs.
– We welcome everyone, across political beliefs, identities, and abilities, and we don’t tolerate prejudice or bigotry.
– We practice accountability. Harm is sometimes unavoidable when people gather; what matters is that we hold ourselves and each other accountable and repair harm when we can.
– This space is for learning, sharing, dreaming, and acting, not for commercial activity or political campaigning.
– We strive to do no harm. We aim to leave this space better than we found it, offer mutual aid to one another, and work through conflict ourselves rather than involving the authorities.
